  • Santa Marta, Historic Center

    Santa Marta was found by Rodrigo de Bastidas in 1525. And its historic center hides many architectural gems and interesting places to visit: Customs House, Parque Bolívar, Parque de los Novios, Cloister San Juan Nepomuceno, Convent San Juan de Dios, Morro Santa Marta or Fort San Fernando. Cathedral of Santa Marta, is a fundamental chapter in the history of Colombia and Santa Marta. It is full of memories and legends.

  • Tayrona National Natural Park

    Tayrona National Park, in northern Colombia, is a large protected area that encompasses the slopes of the Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in areas adjacent to the Caribbean coast. It is known for its palm-covered inlets, coastal lagoons, rain forest and abundant biodiversity. At its center, the Pueblito ruins are an archaeological site accessed through forest trails, with terraces and structures built by the Tayrona civilization.

  • Cabo San Juan del Guia

    Cabo San Juan del Guía is a beautiful cape with a knockout beach. It's also by far the most crowded area of the park, although lack of road access deters casual day-trippers. The area has a restaurant and a campsite, with hammocks and cabins, in a spectacular lookout on a rock in the middle of the beach. It's possible to spend a very atmospheric night here. Swimming is also possible most of the time, but don't go in too deep.

  • Quebrada Valencia

    To the west of Tayrona Park, at kilometer 56 via Riohacha, is Quebrada Valencia. Here we find several natural waterfalls. To get to these waterfalls, a path overland is traveled for thirty minutes. This place has become one of the most important attractions for national and foreign tourism.

     

  • El Rodadero

    El Rodadero is a spa in the city of Santa Marta, on the shores of the Caribbean Sea in Colombia. It is located in the commune of Gaira-Rodadero. Its development began in the mid-1950s and since then it has become one of the main tourist destinations in the country.

  • Playa de Los Ángeles

    Playa Los Ángeles is a paradise of white sand, one of the most sought after beaches by travelers visiting Santa Marta. It has about 5 km ideal for hiking.

  • Playa Casa Grande

    Casa Grande is a beautiful beach with white sand, palm trees and open to the sea, characteristics of the paradisiacal landscapes that tourism offers in Santa Marta. Ideal for surfing, but not recommended for swimming.

  • Palomino

    Palomino, Dibulla, La Guajira, Colombia .

    Palomino can be reached by road either from Riohacha or from Santa Marta. It is on the banks of the river of the same name that becomes the border between the Magdalena and La Guajira. It is 90 kilometers from Riohacha and 72 from Santa Marta. In addition to the beaches, the area has all thermal levels, from sea level to the intense cold of the Sierra Nevada.
